Below is some unprompted feedback we’ve had today regarding the Actros Procabin demonstrator.

‘Good motor that, lot more driver friendly than previous Mercs’
‘12.5 I got yesterday but I was pushing it a bit because I got held up going to Washington so had it on power instead of economy’
‘Cameras are better than previous’

Kev’s not, historically a Mercedes fan, so we have to take notice of this.
In the last five days it has travelled 2,191 miles and averaged 12.35 mpg

We’ve been given one of these to try. Can you spot the difference?
First impressions: very refined, several upgrades from the previous model, and I don’t dislike the look of it. But we did have to get on the catwalk to reach the catch on the side deflector that gives access to the catwalk… are we missing something here?
Trip meter promises some very good fuel consumption, so we’ll see how it copes with 26 pallets of cement on Monday.
