(As good as) New truck day. They’ll look a little different on Monday. Thanks to Les Smith at MAN Truck & Bus UK, Manchetts Sleaford, Boston Truck and Bus Wash and Chris Saint for sourcing, preparing and delivering these ultra low mileage TGX’s, with fridges, microwaves and TfL safety kits.
And our biggest thanks to Midas Transport Ltd for their continued loyalty.

New truck day!
Seven years almost to the day since we bought our last new Scania, they’re back on the fleet, and a lot has changed. We have high hopes for next-level fuel economy.
Thanks again to Simon Moore and the team for working alongside us to get the specification right.

One of the last two Scania 3-Series to be registered in Lincolnshire, and possibly the U.K. P290 and P760 ADO. Late production, then to Gray & Adams Doncaster for bodies to be built meant they didn’t hit the road until late October 1996.

A Scania-packed week this week. We end with this. Sold to its new local operator after a paint-refresh and polish at Boston Truck and Bus Wash (they don’t just wash). It’s made us wonder whether we should have kept it…
