Just two pairs of lorry drive tyres yeah? Nothing remarkable about that, hundreds of thousands of lorry tyres run up and down the country every day so what makes these ones so special?

Well, when you realise that they've been re-cut or regrooved by hand, and what makes this incredibly professional job all the more impressive is that they were done by Michal a 'trainee' of our Training Academy.

Our Bush Tyres Training Academy was set up nearly a year ago with the purpose of training the next generation of fitters with the skills they need to work within this industry.

Of all the on our roads today, when you see an Aston Martin waiting to pull out at a junction, our deep rooted sense of Britishness takes over and we slow to make space for road royalty to join our carriage way.

You certainly won't see very many of these on the UK roads nowadays however, just a few days ago our Bush Tyres Spalding depot was lucky enough to play host to these incredible Nissan GT-R R32 which was booked in for a full following a custom Electric Steering column conversion with a manual rack.

This iconic Japanese sports car is legendary for its highly tuneable engine that can produce up to 1000bhp. Even in its standard stock it produces 276bhp.

Keeping all four wheels within the original specified geometry for optimal performance requires incredibly accurate measurements and skilled technicians.

Once up on the Alignment ramp in our Spalding depot, using our computer aided alignment machine the team where able to adjust the camber and direction of each wheel bringing it back into true and within 's original spec for the car.

Driving a Porsche for many a petrol head will be on their list of all time to drive. This particular GT4 seen here in our Bush Tyres Spalding depot was being fitted with a new set of 's finest rubber in the shape of their tyres.

When you have at your disposal around 394bhp produced from a six cylinder 4.0 litre engine, when you do finally decide to press the loud pedal when it is safe and legal to do so, you'll find that you've accelerated from 0-60mph in shade over 4 seconds.

Incidentally, if you're thinking that maybe this GT4 would be perfect for exploring the African Savana, think again as a fully grown Cheetah can accelerate from 0-60 mph in less than 3 seconds.

However should you encounter that rogue Cheetah between Spalding and Horncastle on the A153, (It might happen) there may just be enough twists and turns to give you sporting chance of getting away.

It took less than 60 minutes from the telephone call first being received, to our tyre fitter arriving on site to work on this stricken series 8 JCB which had developed a puncture.

Skilfully our Bush Tyres mobile tyre technician removed the large 710/70/38 tyre, then repaired it, and re-fitted it all whilst in the field.
