I’ve decide to try and make more pieces with set stones. This rugged silver & turquoise ring was a perfect start… until it wasn’t.

Can you see the mistake? Personally, I would still wear it as it’s imperceptible when worn and doesn’t detract from the overall look of the ring. Do I sell it, with full disclosure of the flaw, or do I start again?

What would you do? 🧡

Say hello to the newest little creation - Dear Heart. A simple heart shaped earring which sits in the ear. A hook and catch secure it and finish off the shape. £15.00. These will be available at the up coming fairs or DM me. 🧡

*Update on the update…. We’re calling it a squangle!*

Update on the bangle…

She loves it 🧡. I took it to her today and she’s going to wear it for a while to check the size and smoothness of the insides. The lady wears her bangles all the time. 24hrs a day so she wants to make sure it doesn’t feel too loose.

Here it is with her current stack, all of which have a meaning to her.

My customer was given a cross and an ingot of silver, both pendants she would never wear. She now has a pair of earrings, & a bangle she will wear daily (there is also a toe ring to follow).

This was my most testing piece as I needed to completely reshape the ingot through hammering, rolling & drawing. The mathematical dimensions needed to make a square bangle tested my brain too! My customer was very patient and I hope she’s pleased with the end result. 🧡

Silver straws, because paper ones are awful and plastic is so last century.

Up your cocktail or mixer drink this festive season with a sterling silver straw. These can be slipped in your bag and taken with you on a night out or simply when you’re at home with your friends or enjoying the peace. Wash in warm soapy water & use again. Another day, another bangle. A different texture though, hammered lines instead of hammered round dents.

The vice holds the metal tight and square so I can file the ends flat ready for soldering.
