These two pictures in their original frames are on loan from The Leverton Archive to Chattertons Solicitors Spalding Office and are proudly residing in their prestigious Board Room.
The premises of Dembleby House in Broad Street were previously a hotel and bar often used by Leverton & Unatrac as accommodation for Trainees from all over the UK and from Unatrc's overseas operations, for those attending the Training Centre in the repurposed Levertons of Spalding's Car Dealer garage, merely a few paces away up the road. Many Leverton retirement events where also held there back in the day, including my late father's Arthur Wensor.

Warren Peel has been asked by the family of Mike Verney, Ex Leverton Spalding Fork Lift Truck Dept, passed away on the 7th February 2026. No date has yet been set for the funeral.

Roger Brown's family wish it to be known that his funeral will take place at Basingstoke Crematorium on 29th January 2026 at 10:15am and all are welcome afterwards at The White Hart Hotel. In Loving Memory of Donnie Shea
Born 7th May 1944 – Passed Away 12th October 2025

We will be celebrating the life of our beloved dad, Donnie Shea, on Wednesday, 5th November at 3:00 pm at Surfleet Crematorium.
You are warmly invited to join us to pay your respects and say your goodbyes.
Instead of bringing flowers, we kindly ask that you consider making a donation directly to the wonderful people at the 5 Bells Care Home, who loved and supported Dad through his battle with dementia right to the very end (link below).
Don’t feel you need to wear black — a little splash of tartan would be good too, in true Donnie style.

The funeral service for BRIAN FREIR 1933 - 2025, will to be held at South Lincolnshire Crematorium, Surfleet on
Wednesday 24th September 2025 at 2:00pm.
Family flowers only please. Donations if desired can be made to Cancer Research UK.
Born in Pode Hole near Spalding, Brian was a long term employee at H Leverton & Co. He was also a well known barber in the late 50's and 60's at Stanwells in Hall Place, Spalding.
Brian passed away peacefully at Pilgrim Hospital on 16th August 2025 aged 92.
Loving husband of Joan and Father to Caroline and Nicola.
