Michael’s beetle arrived in for an overhaul after not being on the road for several years. Full engine service, lifetime fuel lines, new shocks front and rear, full engine service and carb ultrasonic clean and rebuild kit. Now flying along. Great to be able to get the chance to work on such original bug.

Scott’s mango arrived in today for a bit of TLC. Changing the repro carb to original Solex and a few other “whilst it’s in could you just” jobs 😂. So the mango theme continues….

Carols bay in to investigate strong fuel smell. Also in fit new clutch so perfect timing to replace the dangerous split filler hoses for lifetime modern replacements. At the same time we changed the flywheel oil seal and O ring. Get it all done in one go.

And this is why we think the non mot rule for classics is madness. This bus failed mot on a 15 year old tyre, new tyre fitted and now safe for summer cruising
