Congratulations Maddison on passing your test at King's Lynn Test Centre this morning. Maddison's instructor could not make the test date, so I offered to help out, so we had lessons to get used to my car. You deserved this pass and we have also let her instructor share this great news. All the best Jane 😀

Wow last 7 tests, all first time passes, on a great roll and happy to have changed so many lives for the better with more job opportunities, more independence and mostly believing that you can do anything with hard work and being able to grow in confidence, and becoming a safe respectable driver 😊😊😊😊

A massive congratulations to Caitlin Swinbourne for passing your practical test first time this morning with only 4 driving faults. You worked hard and attended every lesson. You also didn't have a lesson last week or be able to drive to the test centre due to my ankle injury and still held your nerves. Its been an absolute pleasure teaching you and all the best. See you on the roads Jane 😊

A massive congratulations to Katy Stapleton for passing your practical test first time with only 4 driving faults at King's Lynn Test Centre this afternoon. Also a massive thank you to my husband Tim Knight for driving us there and back due to me braking my ankle yesterday evening which meant Katy could do her test.
I am so proud of you and you thoroughly deserved your pass today. Good luck to you, Paul and your lovley family and enjoy your freedom. Jane 😊

ARE YOU REALLY TEST READY? 🚗💨
As driving instructors, our job is to guide, support, and coach you. But there is one thing we can’t do: we can’t take the test for you.
It’s easy to feel like you’re driving perfectly when your instructor is still providing those "little" nudges. But if your instructor is still...
🔹 Reminding you to check your mirrors
🔹 Telling you when to change gear
🔹 Prompting you on speed limits or lane choices
🔹 Talking you through manoeuvres or roundabouts
🔹 Helping you judge gaps in traffic
...then you aren't quite test-ready yet. And that’s okay! It doesn't mean you’re a bad driver; it just means you’re still in the learning phase.
THE REALITY OF TEST DAY 🛑
Once that door closes, the safety net is gone. It’s just you and the examiner.
❌ No prompts.
❌ No reminders.
❌ No reassurance.
If you make a mistake, you have to find the mental strength to recover on your own. That pressure is real, and it’s much harder to handle if you aren’t fully independent behind the wheel.
"JUST HAVE A GO" 🗣️
Well-meaning friends or family might say, "Just have a go for the experience!" But they aren't the ones in the hot seat. Failing a test is rarely a "good experience"—it’s expensive and can dent your confidence.
THE GOAL 🌟
When you are truly up to standard, you might still feel nervous (that’s normal!), but you won't feel doubt.
Driving is a life skill that protects you and everyone else on the road. Taking the time to get it right isn't a delay—it’s an investment in your safety.
Trust your instructor’s advice. They know when you’re ready to fly solo!
