Saturday suspension work

Tired old shocks on this chopped and heavily modded retro trails Honda had to be removed, they weren't working any longer, so we've upgraded with a set of YSS with some minor mods to get them to fit!

Back open!

After a small hiatus on social media, a heavy amount of work that's been coming in over the last few months and a much needed holiday with the family (first in 3 years)

I'm now properly back open and taking bookings for September - get in touch now as I'm already having dates booked!

Any engine rebuilds will have to hold on until the end of October and the back end of the year, the joys of a small space and being a 1 man band, these just have to wait for those quieter months for me I'm afraid

I've plenty of work to upload onto here to show you what I've been up too once I have a spare few moments to sit down and put it all up, so expect a photo dump soon!

My phone has reset itself and has seen better days, the heat hasn't helped either as its also over heating, basically I need a new phone!

Having a run on Ducati's again

This one, a Monster 696 Anniversary edition

New rider, had only covered less than 1000miles from purchase, brought it in on a bit of an emergency complaining of a noisy rear brake, found the issue, metal on metal! Not only that, both rear wheel bearings absolutely knackered as well, tyres were on the edge of legal limit too which were replaced

Once everything was sorted I took it for a test ride only to find front discs were severely warped! How it passed the MOT weeks earlier is beyond me 🤦🏻‍♂️ swiftly replaced these for the customer too

Disc and pads all round with a brake system flush, new tyres and new rear wheel bearings, rides how it should now 👌🏻

What a bike! Sometimes I do get some right gems in

Ducati 1198S

One of my regulars recently purchased this and brought it over straight away before he went away for the week, fully loaded with everything on it

Fluids, Filters and belts done, set to 110hz, and needed to address the front end as there was something wrong with the suspension, I played around with the set up and although it was better, still wasn't happy, after stripping it down I found there was about 90ml of fork fluid in each of the legs 🤦🏻‍♂️
