If an open-plan layout and plenty of space is what floats your boat then this could be the boat for you 👀

Introducing the 2018 Bailey Pegasus Palermo GT70 🌟 Having spent this morning in and around it, I'm pretty confident in calling it the perfect family-friendly tourer with its versatile sleeping arrangements…a single, a double and bunk beds all under one roof 👌

I'm hoping the images show just how spacious this thing is. If they're not quite doing it, there's a full video tour now live on our website with a shed load more images too 😎

A host of happy customers collecting their new caravans and motorhomes last week 🥹 You could call it a typical mid-season week at Red Lion… apart from the weather 🥵☀️

First up it’s Mr & Mrs Harrison collecting their new 2014 Auto-Trail Apache 700 motorhome courtesy of salesman Simon. Without very far to travel home to Burscough, I'm sure we'll be seeing the trio again soon 🤩

Next in line is Amanda collecting her stylish 2022 Go-Pod micro tourer from our most experienced member of staff Gary. Not the first and not the last local customer leaving with a smile 😁

We regularly have vans finding new homes all across Europe even as far as New Zealand but it's nice to see so many happy locals this week 🥹 Mr & Mrs Owen collected and returned home up the road to Ainsdale with their stunning example of an AutoCruise Stardream 🤩

Last but certainly not least and ending the run of local affairs is Mr Pepper and his brand new Xplore XC Quad as they head homeward bound upto Ayrshire! 🤩🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

SUNLIGHT IBEX 4x4: the next steps! 🚐🔥

Last year, SUNLIGHT presented the IBEX 4x4 for the first time as a concept car – and now the next milestone is here.

The official market launch is planned for August 2026, and SUNLIGHT has already released the first details.

💥 What you can expect:

- VW Crafter with all-wheel drive, 163 hp, and 8-speed automatic transmission, packed into a compact length of just under 6 meters
- Factory off-road equipment: robust 18" off-road tires, lightbar, reinforced roof structure with partially integrated awning, and an electric off-road entry step
- Smart interior features: space-saving bathroom with foldable sink, new sliding partition wall for quick access to the rear storage area, and a pull-out fridge accessible from inside and outside
- Your look: choose from 4 different paint finishes: blue, sand, grey and black

And the best part: the IBEX 4x4 will be available to order from August 2026!

2 happy customers and 2 even happier vans heading off to their new (and hopefully forever) homes 🥹

Both transactions completed in the care of Salesman Simon!👏

Firstly it’s a new home for our AutoSleeper Burford. If you’re unfamiliar with this vehicle, it’s worth checking our previous posts, she’s a beauty 😰 I personally am sad to see her go although I’m sure Mr & Mrs Severin aren’t!! A personal favourite of mine 🤩 A huge thank you and congratulations, all 3 of them stayed at a local Caravan & Motorhome Club site on the Southport coast before heading home down to East Sussex📍

Next up was the turn of Mr & Mrs Hughes and their new Bailey Unicorn Madrid 🤩 They utilised our part exchange scheme and landed themselves a serious upgrade by swapping in their beloved 2006 caravan 🥺 Having spoken to Mr Hughes personally before departure, I’d like to wish them both many many happy returns!😁
