Got someone driving way too close behind you? 😳🚗

It can feel intimidating, especially as a learner, but the worst thing you can do is let their impatience pressure you into unsafe driving.

Remember:

❌ Don't speed up just because they're close
📏 Leave more space between you and the vehicle ahead
🧠 Stay calm and focus on your own driving
🚫 Never brake-check or react aggressively
🚗 If it's safe and appropriate, allow them to pass

Think you know what will make you fail your driving test? 👀🚗 Some of the things learners worry about most aren't quite as simple as they seem!

❌ Stalling = instant fail? FALSE
❌ Touching the kerb = automatic fail? FALSE
❌ Examiners have pass quotas? FALSE
❌ One mistake means you've failed? FALSE

Your driving test isn't about delivering a completely perfect drive. What matters is how safely and competently you drive and how you deal with situations that arise. 🧠🚗

So if you make a small mistake, don't assume it's over — stay calm, stay focused and keep driving! 💪

🌧️ What Should You Do If There’s a Puddle in the Road? 🚗

Puddles can look harmless, but you can’t always tell how deep they are or what might be hiding underneath. 🌧️🚗

If you come across standing water:

🐢 Slow down as you approach
🪞 Check your mirrors before changing speed or position
↔️ Go around it if it’s safe to do so
🚗 If you have to drive through it, keep your speed slow and steady
💦 Never hit a puddle at speed — it can reduce grip and increase the risk of losing control
🚶 Be mindful of pedestrians nearby and avoid splashing them

The safest option is always the one that gives you the most control. 👍

A green traffic light means GO… right? 🚦🤔

Well, not always! A green light means you can proceed, but only when it's safe to do so.

Before moving, remember to:

👀 Check the road ahead is clear
🚗 Make sure you won't block the junction
🚶 Look out for pedestrians who may still be crossing
🚑 Stay aware of emergency vehicles
🧠 Don't just move automatically because the light changed

Green doesn't mean “go no matter what” — you still need to make sure it's safe. 🚗
