MOT Exemption – Your vehicle still needs to be safe to drive and ‘roadworthy’. Checking your tyres is important as it’s the only part of your vehicle in contact with the road. The legal tread depth limit is 1.6mm. We’re still open to keep you safe on the roads and we are taking precautionary measures to make sure you’re safe when you visit.

Good Afternoon all, as things are changing day by day we would like to put in place a few things to be aware of if you are visiting the garage for an MOT, we would like to ask that there only be one person at a time in reception, if you arrive and there is already a customer in there please could we ask you wait in your car, you can call us to let us know you are there and we will be with you as soon as we can. Also contact-less card payment limits are set to be increased to £45 as of 1st April, where possible please use this method for payment, many thanks Express MOT

Can I get my car MOT tested?
Owners of cars, vans and motorcycles have been granted a six-month exemption from MOT testing from 30 March, the Department for Transport has confirmed.
It says this will enable drivers and riders to to continue to travel to work where this absolutely cannot be done from home, or shop for necessities.
However, the statement adds that vehicles must be 'kept in a roadworthy condition', and those found at the controls of unsafe motors can be prosecuted.

Good Morning, we would like to let all our customers know we are open as normal, as per the government guidelines garages have been included as part of the exception to open. We will be trying to operate as per the guidelines and would ask that all customers adhere to the necessary social distancing. We are implementing as many cleaning procedures as possible. We are hoping to keep as many of you as well as all the front line workers on the road. If you have problems getting your vehicle to us for a pre-booked appointment we can arrange a collection service for you via a third party that we use for transport already.
