This boat had previously had an old osmosis repair and the epoxy filler had obviously failed over time, sanded back to sound glass and the area filled with new epoxy filler, faired in then 6 layers of copper coat blended into the old. Ready for the season and plenty of life in the old girl yet! www.bowtostern.co.uk

We’ve had an old cobra 7 meter rib in our workshop since December last year, we have extensively stripped the boat back to the bare hull and given every single part of this boat a new lease of life. Every module has been repaired and re-gelled back to the original colour. Head over to our YouTube page to see a few short videos showing this whole project from start to finish. We’ve had a very wet rudder in these last few weeks, the rudder was filled with pumice and held a lot of water. We cut open the rudder and removed the pumice, with the rudder under a heat lamp for a few days to dry it out we then went about filling it with A and B foam and then laminating the pieces back in. Once faired it was just a case of giving it a coat of epoxy and the 8 coats of copper coat to finish. www.bowtostern.co.uk
