What does RINA approval actually mean?

If your yacht is classed under RINA or Lloyd's Register, periodic mast and rigging surveys must be carried out by an approved supplier.

That's where Marine Results comes in.

We're now approved by both classification societies, allowing us to undertake certified rigging surveys and inspections that help keep yachts in class.

No fluff. No badges for the wall.

Were you wondering what our Big News was?

The Marine Results team are pleased to announce that we are a RINA Approved Service Supplier for rigging services.

The approval covers our mast and rigging survey and inspection, non-destructive testing (NDT) of standing rigging, and the load testing, inspection and certification of lifting equipment, including cranes and access rails.

The approval follows a successful technical assessment carried out by RINA and recognises Marine Results' competence in rigging inspection, testing and survey.

As one of the world's leading classification societies, RINA plays an important role in supporting safety, compliance and technical standards across the global maritime industry.

The approval strengthens Marine Results' existing Lloyd's Register Approved Service Supplier status and provides owners, captains and yacht managers with additional confidence when undertaking class-related rigging work.

3 days. 405km. Epic challenge. 💥
Last month, from 15 to 17 May, Ed and John from our Marine Results Palma team rode their hearts out in the 2026 6Points 10th anniversary Cycling Challenge Mallorca conquering:
🚴‍♂️ 140km. 2800 metres on Day 1 from Andratx through the Serra de Tramuntana
🚴‍♀️ 127km on Day 2 from Port de Pollença to Cap Formentor lighthouse to Cala Millor
🚴‍♂️ 138km on Day 3 from San Salvador to the finale fiesta in Porto Adriano.

That’s 405km across Mallorca’s six compass points – north, south, east, west, the highest peak, and sea level – all in support of this year’s brilliant charities – and we’re proud to be back for the 5th year as a Gold Level Donor:
💙 Asdica Onl Calvià – empowering young people with disabilities
🧡 – mentoring and guiding at-risk youth
🐾 – rescuing and rehoming animals in need
✨ €65,000 has been raised in 2026 so far – already exceeding last year’s total - with €34,000 committed by generous corporate donors. 6Points and their partners, donors, riders and supporters has now raised over €400,000 for charities on Mallorca!

And we kept the whole peloton hydrated along the way. Marine Results supplied the official 6Points event water bottles, in every bottle cage across all 405km of the challenge.

We’re proud to ride, support and give back alongside such an incredible community.

From superyacht projects to race-winning campaigns.

Perseus claimed victory in class at the Cyclades Cup with Marine Results’ Ben, Jon, Lockie and Connor on board as part of the crew.

Not a bad way to spend a week in the Aegean.

Day one at the Cyclades Cup, and Perseus made it count - with Marine Results in the race crew.

The wind died at the last leeward mark and the race went inside out. Perseus was leading. We got the kite up on the upwind leg, sailed ourselves out of a massive hole and away from the fleet. Only one other boat made it round the mark.

Then they abandoned the race.

That’s yacht racing.
