🏆 Two Tony Castro designs have been recognised at the Polboat Yachting Festival.

Announced at the POLBOAT 2026 Night gala on the opening evening of the festival at Marina Yacht Park, two designs shaped by our studio each took their category.

The Galeon Explorer 430 — a Tony Castro Yachts design — gets the full MBY boat test treatment in the August 2026 issue, and it’s the boat’s fearless approach to space that takes centre stage.

A beam carried almost to the bow, terraces folding down along half the hull and a rotating aft-deck dinette that reshapes the boat around the day. None of it is conventional, but all of it is intentional.

Today is World Ocean Day — and for us, it is a moment to say clearly what we believe.

For us, sustainability is not a specification. It is not a feature added late in the design process, after the fundamental decisions have already been made. It lives in the hull form, the weight budget, and the long-term thinking that goes into every project we take on.

We have been designing yachts since the late 1970s. In that time, we have watched the water change. We do not think the right response is a press release. It is the work itself — and a genuine commitment to the organizations protecting what we all depend on.

Celebrating the partnership with .yachts and in Miami 🇺🇸

A great recap of the Miami Boat Show, where the award-winning Galeon 620 and the recently revealed Galeon 520 by Tony Castro Yacht Design were on display.
