Winner in Cannes 🏆

Tony Castro with the Best Innovation Award for our Galeon 570 SKY at the World Yachts Trophies.

The award is judged across every nominated boat at the show, not by size category, and it’s the studio’s third Innovation Award in four years.

She’s a sleek coupé with a full upper helm that rises from the deck at the touch of a button and folds away again, and Beach Mode opens balconies on both sides.

Tony Castro Yachts wins Best Innovation Award in Cannes 🏆

Our Galeon 570 SKY took the award in the 45–64 ft category at the World Yachts Trophies, a second consecutive win for the studio after the Galeon 620 Fly in 2025.

Tony Castro x Boat Heroes Magazine September 2026 🛥️

Fifty years, three countries and a few hundred boats sit behind Stéphane Gamelin’s profile of Tony in the current issue of Boat Heroes, which he both wrote and photographed. It runs from a boy sketching boats by the sea in Lisbon through Glasgow, Ron Holland’s office in the 1970s, and a studio of Tony’s own at twenty-eight. No signature style to apply, just each project taken on its own terms, with function justifying every line.

A wide-ranging conversation spanning five decades of design, from his beginnings in international sailing yacht racing in the 1970s through to the studio’s work today, taking in AI, sustainability, and the one boat he has yet to design.
