Many road users fail to show their intentions clearly when driving so you always need to consider if an indicator will add value or if there’s potential for it being misleading.

In this example you’re turning right but not immediately right so could your indicator be more useful or more misleading for the traffic around you?

I posted this the other day and lots of people had different views on who should go first?

The blue car has already entered the roundabout to the right so if their intentions are to join the roundabout where the red and green car are entering then the red 🚗 should give way to the blue car 🚙

This means green should be able to go at the same time as blue. Red should then wait til it’s clear.

I see a variety of different timings at these type of junctions but where should you indicate to effectively show your intentions? Remember the purpose of an indicator is to show other road users what you intend to do, it’s not just a token gesture.
-
A - before you move to the right lane
B - after you’ve moved as your position is fine
C - just before you’re making the turn
D - don’t need to as it’s a turn right only lane

Are there roundabouts that shouldn’t be roundabouts? 😵‍💫

This roundabout in particular is very low visibility and the roundabout itself is so tight that if you’re turning right you basically have to drive over the roundabout.
-
I’d argue that it this was designed as a give way T-Junction or even have a STOP 🛑 sign there it would still flow just as well but be a safer junction.

With so many road signs around, how many do you actually take in? It can be easy to miss a sign or misread one as there’s a lot to concentrate on when driving.
