The Ultimate BMW M140i Track Upgrade: Brembo GT M Big Brake Kit! 🏁

The F20/F21 M140i has the ultimate powertrain in the B58, but when it comes to serious track day use, the factory brakes are its biggest weakness. In this video, we fix that flaw permanently by installing the ultimate braking setup: the Brembo GT M Monoblock Big Brake Kit.

This particular customer car is already a weapon on track, having previously visited Regal Autosport for an incredible AST 5300 Competition 3-Way Coilover setup and a full suite of Suspension Secrets geometry components (watch that install here: https://youtu.be/6ZgpjpLZNsU).

Naturally, the next step to extract the maximum performance from this platform was a massive brake overhaul.

This Range Rover Evoque came in with a clunking noise that appeared to be coming directly from the propshaft.

After a closer inspection, the propshaft wasn't the problem at all.

The culprit was a failed engine mount, allowing excessive engine movement under load. That movement was being transferred through the drivetrain and into the propshaft, creating the clunk our customer was hearing.

It's a good reminder that the source of a noise isn't always the cause of it.

Diagnosing faults correctly saves time, money, and unnecessary parts replacement.

If your air conditioning isn't blowing cold, don't assume it just needs a re-gas.

Low refrigerant, leaks, compressor faults, damaged seals, blocked pipework, and even systems that have been overfilled can all cause poor AC performance.

That's why a "free AC check" often doesn't tell you the full story. Most quick checks only measure how much refrigerant is in the system - they don't diagnose why it's not working.

One of the standout cars we spotted at Players Classic was F80 M3 🤍⁠

The car has undergone a complete transformation since we last saw it. Gone is the previous look, replaced with a far more track-focused setup featuring white-on-white styling, Alpina split rims, AP Racing brakes and some serious aero additions.⁠

It’s a bold direction, but it works. The whole package looks purposeful without losing what made the car special in the first place.⁠

The factory ride height on the E-Tron GT leaves a bit too much arch gap, and dropping it on traditional air suspension modules can cost thousands. To fix this, we are installing the PWRD Stance Pack. This unique, budget-friendly kit utilises adjustable lowering links and hubcentric wheel spacers to safely manipulate the factory air suspension. The result? A perfectly aggressive drop and a flush, wide-track fitment without ever touching coilovers or lowering springs.

1. Porsche 911 GTS - Lower front arm replaced and full wheel alignment completed using our in-house Beissbarth Q.Lign 3D system, restoring handling precision and preventing uneven tyre wear.
2. Audi R8 - Carbon clean carried out with before & after dyno runs, plus new spark plugs fitted to recover lost performance and improve engine efficiency.
3. BMW M4 - Upgraded to Motul 300V Competition Oil, giving this high-performance engine the protection it needs under hard road and track use.
4. Jaguar XF - Service and health check completed. Significant copper metallic debris found in the oil, indicating potential bearing wear and helping identify a serious issue before catastrophic engine failure.
5. VW Golf GTI - Routine service carried out to keep maintenance up to date and performance at its best.
6. Jaguar F-Type - Tarox big brake upgrade installed, delivering stronger stopping power and improved confidence under spirited driving.
7. Land Rover Discovery - Service and MOT completed, ensuring this family workhorse remains reliable and road legal.

This Porsche Cayman GT4 lost drive while launching out of the pit lane at Goodwood.⁠
⁠
When we stripped it down, we found the nearside driveshaft had completely separated from the gearbox after the securing bolts had backed themselves out.⁠
⁠
Thankfully, no damage was caused to the gearbox or surrounding components, and a new driveshaft had this GT4 back in action.⁠
⁠
Track days are hard on cars - sometimes it’s the smallest components that cause the biggest problems.⁠
⁠
