Just some words of advice . . .

If your child is learning to drive, and you are doing the following . . .

driving round speeding, straight lining roundabouts, using the right hand lane on dual carriageways as your normal lane and just in general not driving properly!

Your kids look upto you. you're perfect in their eyes, so they believe how you drive is the correct way.

Your child WILL have these habits in their mind during driving lessons and these habits will take SEVERAL EXPENSIVE driving lessons to unlearn!

It could also be the route cause of a test fail whilst they're driving under the pressure of a test and just suddenly remember how their parents "do things"

The only thing I do not enjoy about my amazing "Job" is having to tell people they're not test ready, believe me I do not do this lightly, and I really do not like having to do it.

I do this because I care about the safety of the people i help learn to drive, I am not willing to take some for a test that I feel is not safe enough to drive on the road, learners that still need reminding of safety critical things like keeping to speed limits or even just appropriate use of speed in certain areas, people still missing safety critical observations, things that could quite literally be dangerous and life threatening at the wrong time.

I just care about my learners safety and other road users!

Don't get me wrong, they could "fluke" a test pass, but that does not give me peace of mind they are going to be safe on the roads.

Just check on the local facebook groups for people looking for driving instructors and you will see how highly recommended i come in my area, my phone goes off multiple times a day so i am not trying to "rip you off" or "milk you for more money"

When slots come up on my diary they're gone the same day!

Drive safe!

Going from one end of the UK to the other today! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 ➡️ 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Leaving at 1:30am to try avoid as much traffic as possible before getting to our first rest spot.

It's important on long journeys to plan them well, with rest stops this will become a 12 hour or so journey for us.

Finally some rain!

I've absolutely loved the heat, but this rain is overdue I think!

In this weather just remember your stopping distance is literally doubled!

"ONLY A FOOL BREAKS THE 2 SECOND RULE"

That become ATLEAST a 4 second rule from the vehicle infront in this weather, thats not a target, that's a minimum.

Stay safe 🙂👍🏻

This fundraiser has done so well, i know the 2 teenagers and their family are so thankful for everything our amazing community has done for them over the last week and this GFM has been such a blessing for them.

I know some of my family, friends and even some of my current and passed learners have donated, your generosity really does mean so much

Thank you all so much!!
