Originally supplied in the UK to Car Mart London on 25 January 1958, this 100-Six later travelled to the USA before returning to the UK with its current owner in 2015.

Pedro Passadore’s Austin Healey 100 restoration was a five-year project shaped by history, originality and attention to detail.

The car arrived in Uruguay in 1954 and has remained there ever since, with a history that includes rallies and regularity events in both Uruguay and Argentina. When Pedro and his Argentine friend acquired it in 2011, the aim was to rebuild it while preserving as much originality as possible.

The project included work to the engine, gearbox, suspension, brakes, radiator, differential, carburettors and bodywork, with one larger ambition always in the background: taking the Healey to compete in the Mille Miglia.

A good bit of Bank Holiday inspiration for anyone with a Healey project waiting in the garage.
