K11 Front Mounted Airbox Intake Kits

We’ve received a mixed batch of our original Version 1 housings and the revised Version 2 design, so we’re offering the Version 1 kits at a reduced price.

During prototype testing, we found that heavier-duty hose clamps could distort the original flat-oval housing, preventing the silicone joiner between the airbox and crossover tube from sealing properly. We revised the housing shape for Version 2, but some of the original design were mistakenly included in our delivery.

We’ve resolved the Version 1 sealing issue by using narrower 9mm hose clamps, pre-shaped using a purpose-made 3D-printed former. This allows the clamps to secure the hose without forcing the housing out of shape.

They now seal correctly, but this isn’t the design we intended to put into production, so the Version 1 kits are available at a much lower price than Version 2.
