💧 WATER PUMP FAILURE - COMMON ON THESE! 🔧
Customer called us out to a coolant leak / overheating issue on this Vauxhall. As soon as we got stuck in, we found the culprit...
Original water pump completely corroded, seized and leaking badly - just look at the state of it in the photos!
This is a very common failure on the 1.0 / 1.2 / 1.4 Vauxhall / Opel engines. If you leave it, it will overheat, snap the belt and cause serious engine damage.
✅ Old pump removed
✅ Block face fully cleaned and prepped
✅ New water pump fitted with new gasket
✅ Fresh coolant and bled correctly
