A final road closure warning...
Tomorrow official road closures will be in place for the carnival around the parade route; Pyms Road, Summerfield Road, Station Road, Aston Street, High Street, Lowe Hill Road
- Roads will be closed from 1pm for the afternoon procession, and 7.15pm for the evening illuminated procession
- They will be re-opened in sections after the procession passes
- Please respect the road closure and the marshals enforcing it
- If you are attending for the day, please plan your timings around these closures
- Please note that the 509 Wem Town bus service will not run at 13:30 and 14:45
- The 508 bus service that leaves Ellesmere at 12:35 may be affected and may terminate on its approach to Wem
- Trains will not be affected
- Please plan your travel, deliveries, takeaways etc. around this!
