🚐 Isuzu Pick-Up Brake Repair

This Isuzu pick-up came in after the customer reported a loss of braking performance.

We quickly found the problem — a leaking rear brake cylinder was causing the issue.

We carried out:
🔧 New rear brake cylinders
🔧 New rear brake shoes
🔧 New front brake pads
🔧 Full brake system check

✅ All repaired and tested, getting the customer safely back on the road the same day!

🌧️ TERRIBLE WEATHER, SEIZED SLIDERS… BUT THE JEEP IS SORTED! 🔧

Today we were out mobile working on this Jeep for:

✅ Front discs & pads
✅ Rear brake pads
✅ Seized sliders freed off, cleaned & lubricated

Once we stripped the brakes down, we found the sliders were completely seized. A bit of heat, WD-40 and some persistence later, we managed to get them freed off and moving properly again. 🔥🔧

The old front discs were also heavily scored on the inside, so they were definitely ready for replacement.

Being a less common Jeep, there were a couple of different disc sizes listed so rather than risk turning up with the wrong parts, we ordered the different options and made sure we had exactly what we needed to get the job completed there and then. 👌

All rebuilt with new front discs & pads, new rear pads and the sliders working as they should. ✅

And a big thank you to the customer for letting us work in their stable definitely appreciated with the British weather today! 😂🌧️

🔧 Peugeot 3008 – Full Service, Cambelt & Water Pump ✅

Today we had this Peugeot 3008 in for some important preventative maintenance!

The cambelt was over 10 years old, so it was definitely time to get it replaced before it had the chance to cause any expensive problems.

We completed:

✅ Full service
✅ New cambelt
✅ New water pump
✅ New idlers
✅ Full check-over
✅ Road tested

The difference between the old and new air filter says it all! 😳

While carrying out our final checks, we also spotted a 501 bulb out, which we’ve advised the customer about so it can be sorted.

Another Peugeot serviced, maintained and ready to get back on the road! 🚗💨

🔧 Knocking when letting the clutch out? Here’s why…

Today we had this Ford Transit in after the customer noticed a knocking noise whenever they released the clutch.

After getting underneath and inspecting it, we quickly found the problem, the dog bone/gearbox mount had split, allowing excessive movement and causing the knock.

✅ Fault diagnosed
✅ Split mount removed
✅ New gearbox mount fitted
✅ Road tested
✅ Cleaned up and ready for the customer

🔧 A FULL DAY ON THE ROAD! 🚐💨

Today was a proper mobile day for ADL, with jobs taking us across Shropshire keeping customers on the road! 👨‍🔧

📍 Market Drayton – Kia
First up was this Kia for a complete brake refresh:
✅ Front discs & pads
✅ Rear discs & pads
✅ Everything torqued up and ready to go

The old discs had developed a decent lip, so it was definitely time for a fresh set!

📍 Shrewsbury – Audi A6
Next stop, an Audi A6 for:
✅ New ABS sensor
✅ Oil & filter change

📍 Job #3 – Peugeot 208
Another oil & filter change completed, giving it some fresh oil and keeping on top of routine maintenance. 🛢️
