LIGHT VEHICLE MECHANIC WANTED ‼️‼️
🛠️ THE ROLE
We are looking for someone who is confident working on a wide range of light vehicles and has the knowledge and practical experience to carry out servicing, repairs, diagnostics and general mechanical work to a high standard.
Previous experience as a vehicle mechanic is essential.
You should be able to work independently, use your own initiative and take pride in producing a high standard of workmanship.
👨🔧 WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
✅ Previous experience as a Light Vehicle Mechanic – essential
✅ Good all-round mechanical knowledge
✅ Able to diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
✅ Experience with servicing, maintenance and general repairs
✅ Reliable, punctual and hardworking
✅ Good attention to detail and pride in your work
✅ Able to work both independently and as part of a team
✅ Full, clean UK driving licence – essential
✅ MOT Tester qualification – preferred, but not essential
✅ A professional attitude and good work ethic
An MOT Tester qualification would be a definite advantage, but MOT testing experience is not essential, so please still get in touch if you are an experienced mechanic without an MOT licence.
⏰ WORKING HOURS
Monday – Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm
There is also the option of overtime for those who want to increase their hours and earnings.
There may also be opportunities for on-call work, which will provide additional earning potential.
💷 RATE OF PAY
We offer decent rates of pay based on experience and ability.
We recognise the value of a skilled and experienced mechanic, so the rate offered will reflect the experience, knowledge and qualifications you bring to the role.
