Racing of “kit cars” in many forms is a very popular type of motor racing in the UK. Unfortunately most of these classes rely on a front engine/RWD format and old designs. The is a completely new design using the common production layout of transverse engine and gearbox, but driving the rear wheels. This design is primarily a racing car with no compromise to allow for road registration or use. Th
e objective is to have sufficient cars for a stand-alone championship run by the 750 Motor Club and the prototypes will be proven by racing in the 750MC Sport Specials championship in 2014. Initial commitment has been made to produce parts for 5 cars, and 2 prototypes will be racing in 2014. FRS will provide a core kit of parts including chassis, body, suspension and much more. Supply of these parts will be controlled to assure equal potential performance.
