🚐 What is a CL? 🚐
We often get asked or see posts asking ‘what exactly is a CL’ so here’s a little explanation 😊

A CL (Certificated Location) is a small, often peaceful caravan and motorhome site, all are independent owned and unique. Usually limited to just 5 vans, at any one time, which means they offer a much quieter and more relaxed experience than larger holiday parks.

We are part of the Caravan and Motorhome Club network, available exclusively for CAMC members.

CLs are perfect for people who enjoy
✔️ Quiter breaks
✔️ Exploring
✔️ Friendly personal sites
✔️ Great value for money

All CLs have:
CDP
Drinking water
Waste bins
Public liability insurance
Some like us have EHU hook ups which are subject to required safety checks

At Cherry Cottage CL you will find:
🌸 Peaceful countryside surroundings
🚐 Spacious serviced pitches, hardstanding and level lawn
🚾 Toilet
🧺 Laundry room
💻 WiFi
🐶 Dog friendly
🌅 A relaxing getaway from crowds

Our pitches are currently £23 a night includes up to 2 adults, 2 children and 7kwh electric (any excess payable at cost). No charge for dogs or awnings.

Many of our guests say once they discover CLs they never look back!

P.S. We’re located in beautiful Dorset, close to historic town of Sherborne and the infamous Cerne Abbas Giant, approximately 30mins from coast. Perfect base for exploring some of the best countryside, coast and attractions. 🌞

‘Cherry Cottage CL always seems to have beautiful weather when we come to this lovely site in Dorset. Immaculate site with grass and hard standing pitches all fully serviced with fast WiFi and good TV signal. Toilet, washing machine and tumble dryer and a pub in walking distance. What more could you ask for? Lovely owners Lynne and John are always ready for a chat or advice on where to go in the area. Plenty to visit including Hive beach, Weymouth, Montacute House, Mintern Magna gardens and the glorious village of Cerne Abbas and its giant.’
