After a few weeks off it’s time to put all the hard work with in to play

Focussed, switched on and ready to take on a track I’ve only been to o ce before.

HARD WORK FINALLY PAYS OFF! 🏆

This weekend we said we’d hit it hard and we did. Rounds 1&2.

A weekend of adapting and improving.

Friday practice: Pace was good even on practice engine and with some harsh weather and track conditions.

Saturday Round 1:
Qually: P5. Out on slicks on a damp track. Happy with that.
Heat 1: P5-P2 Getting better.
Heat 2: P5-P6 Had to avoid someone else’s crash, lost a few places but battled back.
Final: Starting P2………well, we didn’t start! Surprise surprise my luck strikes again. After several restarts for some big crashes we eventually rolled into the start line and my spark plug failed! Out before we started.
Not a bad day other than the luck part!

Sunday Round 2
Game face on, on point with the wagon. Ready to roll.

Qually: P2. Greasy track, went slicks, paid off. Quick!
Heat 1: P2-P4. Got stuffed on to the grass by some pop tart and had to recover from 16th. I’ll take that. Quick again.
Heat 2: P2-P1 🏆 Got away well and had a good chase down of the leader. Got P1 into the complex where we kept it over the line 🏆
Final: P2-P2. Got a great start and went 1.5 clear. Made a couple silly errors over driving which left me an a scrap for last 2 laps where I got edged out. My bad.

We were on point from Friday all through the weekend. Had the pace and mixed it up well. A good weekend overall.

🏁 Race Week – Round 1 🏁

This weekend X-Kart heads to Warden Law for Round 1 of the Kart Championship. With drivers competing in both Junior and Senior classes, we’re ready to get the season started.
