TVS Engineering DQ381 GEN2 Unlock Day!

Such a great day yesterday as we hosted the guys from TVS as they made the trip over from Netherlands 🇳🇱 to carry out some in-house TCU unlocks and tuning for us whilst us dealers await the tooling for the GO4 locked DQ381.

Fantastic turnout throughout the day with tonnes of cars now running TVS TCU software or the TVS ECU / TCU Software Package.

The day went so well we may even be able to get the guys back over again in the near future if the demand is as great as it was yesterday. If you are still interested in tuning your DQ381GEN2 locked gearbox get in touch so we can add you to the waitlist. Once we have enough interest we will be able to get the guys back over!

Unfortunately there is still a delay in dealers receiving the official TVS dealer tool whilst TVS add an extra layer of security, however, the good news is we’re hosting a dedicated unlocking day here at CLP!!

💻 The TVS Flash Unlocking Tool allows secure and controlled unlocking of locked DQ381 GEN2 G04 TCUs. After unlocking, the TCU can be tuned exclusively with TVS OBD tuning files, carefully developed to maximize performance and reliability. Third-party tuning is NOT supported!

Role Overview-
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician (NVQ Level 3 minimum requirement) to join our team. The role involves a mix of mechanical repair, diagnostics, maintenance and installation of performance upgrades. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys varied, hands-on work and takes pride in delivering first-class results.

Key Responsibilities-

Perform routine vehicle maintenance, servicing, and mechanical repairs

Diagnose faults quickly and accurately using appropriate tools and equipment

Fit performance upgrades, including exhaust systems, suspension components, intakes, intercoolers, turbo upgrades, and more

Work collaboratively with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment

Communicate clearly with colleagues regarding job progress and technical findings

Ideal Candidate-

Previous experience working with VAG and/or BMW vehicles is a must

Strong mechanical and technical knowledge

Comfortable working with diagnostics tools and electrical troubleshooting

A proactive, “can-do” attitude with excellent problem-solving skills

Able to work well within a small, close-knit team

Punctual, reliable, and committed to high-quality workmanship

Full UK driving licence
