Following on from Treehouse London, our next site visit took us to one of London's most innovative restaurants: Restaurant St. Barts.

Tucked away in historic Smithfield, the dining room looks out over the Church of St Bartholomew the Great, one of London's oldest surviving churches, founded in 1123. The restaurant holds a Michelin Star and a Michelin Green Star for sustainable gastronomy, and that sustainability ethos runs through every detail.

The tables are handmade by a local woodworker from fallen London plane trees, paired with in-house ceramics, weathered concrete and soft candlelight. The menu champions seasonal British produce and small UK producers, with much of it cooked over fire in the open kitchen.

For clients, the curtained private dining area seats up to 20 guests, making it an exceptional choice for client entertaining, leadership dinners or a celebration with real substance behind it.

👀Our London venue hunt started this week with a series of site visits, beginning with Tree House London.

Opened in late 2019, shortly before the pandemic, this Marylebone hotel on Langham Place sits moments from Oxford Circus and Regent Street. It's a property full of character: rattan lighting, hanging greenery, reclaimed wood, and bedrooms with large bay windows framing the city skyline.

For clients looking for a meeting with a difference, the hotel offers intimate private dining and meeting rooms that move well away from the standard corporate setting.

The highlight is The Nest, the rooftop bar with a wraparound outdoor terrace and views across London, from the London Eye and The Shard to Canary Wharf and Regent's Park. It's an ideal setting for post-meeting drinks or an evening reception.

This time our venue hunting took us across London, from warehouses in Shoreditch in the morning to private dining rooms around the City by the afternoon 📍

And finally, Los Mochis London City 🌺🍣🌮

Perched above Broadgate Circle, this is where Mexico meets Japan! An innovative fusion of vibrant Mexican flavours and Japanese precision, with private dining, a rooftop terrace and sweeping city views. That floral entrance alone sets the tone ✨

From industrial-chic to dining in the dark, it's a reminder that the perfect venue really does depend on the story you want your event to tell 💙

Sunday was lots of fun! 🐾🏆

Shay from Orchard Square and I had the honour of sponsoring Thornberry Animal Shelter’s “Pooches in the Park” – and taking on the very tricky task of judging “The One The Judges Want To Take Home” 😍

A full class of 25 beautiful dogs, every single one with the most heart-warming story. Honestly, picking just one winner was near impossible!

It’s safe to say no two days in the events world are ever the same – one minute it’s venue hunting, the next it’s judging a park full of gorgeous pooches for an incredible cause 🐶✨ All in a day’s work, and we loved every second of it.

Huge thanks to the team at Thornberry Animal Shelter for having us involved in such a brilliant event 💙

Just back from a couple of days at DAS EDELWEISS Salzburg Mountain Resort – and wow, this place is immense 🏔️

Tucked away in the Grossarltal valley in Salzburg’s countryside, this stunning wellness resort has to be seen to be believed. Think a 7,000m² Mountain Spa spread across five floors, an infinity pool with those incredible Alpine views, and ski-in ski-out access right from the hotel.

It’s a 5-star, family-owned hotel – run with real passion by the Hettegger family, now in their third generation. I actually met three generations of the family at dinner one evening, and you could feel that warmth running through every part of the stay 💙

Flashback to the beginning of July… when the sun didn’t stop shining and we got to host one seriously stunning garden party 🌿☀️

We were asked to help our client Rathbones organise their Southern client garden party, and the venue choice was easy: Painshill Estate in Surrey. Beyond its 18th-century landscaped gardens, lake and follies, keen-eyed guests may have recognised it as a filming location for Netflix’s Bridgerton - those famous promenade and picnic scenes! 🎬

We welcomed 300 guests into a beautiful marquee, where they enjoyed afternoon tea, English sparkling w**e and canapés, along with tours around the grounds - the perfect way to spend a hot summer’s day 🥂

🐾 Earlier this month, we were involved in two very special events at Orchard Square in Sheffield to raise funds and awareness for two incredible charities: Thornberry Animal Sanctuary and Support Dogs 💛

Thornberry have been rescuing and rehoming animals across South Yorkshire since 1988, giving dogs, cats, rabbits and more a second chance at a loving home. Support Dogs train life-changing assistance dogs for children with autism, adults with epilepsy, and people with physical disabilities – proving just how much a dog can transform a life 🐕

We loved being part of something that brought the community together for such good causes 🥰 Huge thanks to everyone who stopped by, donated, and showed their support.

Weekend “days off” still count as venue scouting in our book 👀

Popped into London Hilton on Park Lane on Saturday for a look around one of Mayfair’s most iconic addresses - and it did not disappoint.

The hotel completed a major multimillion-pound refurbishment in 2023, marking its 60th anniversary and the first refresh of the Grand Ballroom since the hotel opened in 1963. The result is a stunning space that ranks among one of the largest ballrooms in London - think gala dinners, awards ceremonies and large-scale conferences with serious wow factor.
