🎾 A day off, but never fully off duty…

While enjoying the first day of play at Wimbledon, I couldn’t resist popping into the Royal Garden Hotel on Kensington High Street to take a look at the facilities 👀

Having closed its doors completely in 2020, the hotel underwent a full refurbishment across all 396 rooms and suites, completing the transformation in 2024. The result is a beautifully refreshed space that still feels like a tranquil retreat, just steps back from the buzz of the high street.

There’s something lovely about stepping off a busy London street straight into that calm – exactly the kind of contrast that makes for a memorable event backdrop too.

On Saturday we hosted one of six Makers Markets we’re running throughout 2026 at Orchard Square. The sun was out, the square was packed, and 22 local makers brought their incredible creations to the heart of Sheffield 🛍️

There’s something special about bringing the community together like this - supporting local talent and creating a brilliant atmosphere in the process.💙

Over the weekend, I popped in to The Belfry Hotel & Resort in Sutton Coldfield, to check out the brand new Masters Suite and bedrooms ahead of their official debut.

The space is seriously impressive - 852 sqm, accommodating up to 920 guests, with floor-to-ceiling views over the legendary Brabazon golf course (home of the British Masters and a four-time Ryder Cup host 🏆). It’s all set within its own self-contained building, the new Brabazon House wing, alongside 149 stylish bedrooms - accommodation and event space under one roof.

Beautiful surroundings, free car parking, and a serious step up for large-scale conferences and corporate celebrations.

Another venue for the books. Watch this space!

Part of Hilton’s Curio Collection and owned by Crimson Hotels, this stunning property was originally built in 1870 as the home of Victorian aristocrat William Alexander - and that heritage absolutely radiates throughout. Seven Victorian townhouses have been lovingly converted into one distinct hotel with 228 bedrooms, and no two rooms are exactly alike. Boutique in feel, yet with the scale and service of a luxury hotel.

If you’re looking for a luxury London base for corporate stays, client entertaining or event accommodation - this one absolutely delivers!

One of my absolute favourite events in the calendar… and these photos give you a little glimpse of why 🌸✨

Every year, we have the privilege of hosting 400 guests for corporate hospitality during Chelsea Flower Show - and our venue of choice? The stunning National Army Museum, sitting right next door to the iconic Royal Hospital Chelsea 🪖🌺

There’s something truly magical about the contrast - a military helicopter suspended overhead, beautifully dressed high tables, florals everywhere… and a food spread that rivalled the show itself!

Stepping outside, guests were greeted by the most spectacular driftwood sculpture - the ultimate Chelsea moment before heading next door for the flower show.

This is what corporate hospitality is all about. The right venue, the right atmosphere, the right memories.

This is what every walk to work should look like… 🌸✨

This past week I’ve been working in London during Chelsea Flower Show, and the journey from hotel to venue did not disappoint. The incredible Chelsea in Bloom competition sees local shops and businesses transform their frontages into the most stunning floral displays, and they stopped me in my tracks every single morning.

The creativity, the colour, the sheer scale of some of these arrangements… it’s a reminder that inspiration really is everywhere when you work in events 💙

Two more brilliant finds to add to the list:

➡️The Bike Shed // Bike Shed Moto Co
Right in the heart of Shoreditch on Old Street, this is a venue with serious character. Rooted in motorcycle culture, the industrial aesthetic lends itself perfectly to edgy corporate parties, product launches, and brand experiences that want to stand out from the crowd.

➡️The Organ Factory
Just 10 minutes’ walk from Hoxton, but worlds away from the typical event space. This stunning Neo-Gothic Grade II-listed building started life as a school in the 1840s, before being converted into a pipe organ factory a century later - and after careful restoration, it’s now one of London’s most versatile event spaces.

Two very different spaces. Both absolutely worth knowing about.
