We are seeking skilled CAD Technician to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating precise technical drawings and models for internal van racking systems.

Responsibilities
Develop detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings using software such as AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and Rhinoceros 3D. Create accurate schematics and technical illustrations for construction and system design projects. Help assemble racking systems Utilise SketchUp, Grasshopper 3D, and 3ds to produce complex visualisations and parametric models. Collaborate with architects, engineers, and graphic designers to ensure drawings meet project specifications and standards. Assist in the development of detailed construction documentation and system schematics. Review and revise drawings based on feedback to ensure precision and compliance with project requirements. Maintain organised digital files of all CAD projects for easy retrieval and version control.

Skills
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Grasshopper 3D, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, MicroStation, and SolidWorks. Must have experience working with metal sheeting. Strong understanding of CAD principles applied to construction, system design, and graphic visualisation. Experience with schematics development and technical documentation. Knowledge of architectural or engineering workflows within the context of construction projects. Ability to interpret technical sketches, blueprints, and specifications accurately. Excellent organisational skills with an eye for detail to produce high-quality work under tight deadlines. Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams. This position is paid and offers an engaging environment for professional growth within the field of CAD design.
