We’re back [with a bang]! 💥

We recently had the pleasure of transforming this KTM 950 SMR with a bespoke rear section exhaust, featuring twin ceramic black-coated “GP” stubby cans.

This terrier now has the bark to match its bite and sounds truly evil! 😈

A tidy Mondeo Titanium X centre and rear system that we completed recently.

With these having some very common weak points for corrosion on the OE system, we have completed a good few of these over the years.

Our signature 4” TP38 tailpipes fill out the rear bumper nicely as well, without being too over the top. 👌

When you spot it…

A Porsche, but with a difference. This tidy US-import 914 packs an unusual secret: a Subaru EJ Series engine swap.

With the customer complaining that the bodged-together system fitted to substantiate the conversion was holding it back power-wise, our solution was to fabricate this axle-back system, comprising of two 2.25” tubular resonators.

The end noise result is an acquired taste, and a little on the noisy side. But space to fit anything larger was a constraint here.

We just loved having this one in. 😍

This monstrous Bentley Continental GTC V8 recently visited us for a touch of the Cobra venom injecting. We opted for some rear silencer bypasses, removing the restrictive valved rear silencers, in place of smooth mandrel-bent pipework.

The end result was a brutally baritone bellow, yet still classy, without being intrusive in the cabin. With plenty of rumble and crackle on the overrun.

A simple but pretty-looking part for an even prettier vehicle: the Alfa Romeo 147 GTA.

The factory/fitted secondary cats on this particular Jap-import example had collapsed, causing lumpy running and a tinny, raspy tone.

This customer opted to have them removed completely in the form of a secondary cat bypass, while keeping the satisfactory condition primary cats in place. The result: much better throttle response and a richer, crispier exhaust note from the glorious Busso V6. 👌

Everyone loves a Golf R. And the estate bodystyle of the R Wagon just adds to the appeal (in our opinion). 🤝🏻

Long-term Cobra friend and partner, Colin from Decimal Tenths, visited us recently with his latest pride and joy, to have us work our magic on it. 🪄

With Colin planning on Stage 3-ing his workhorse in the longterm, his brief was for a free-flowing 3” cat-back system, but one that didn’t allude to much to its sporting credentials (as quiet as possible, in layman’s terms), so as to comfortably transport his family around, when his right foot doesn’t feel so heavy. 🪨

Thanks for taking the trip down to us Colin-flower. Hope to see you soon!

A very rare and very green (Ascot Green to be specific 👀) Kia Stinger GT that visited us recently for the fabricating and fitting of this very unique custom straight through GPF-back with an X-pipe centre section.

This upgrade was as loud as loud could be (short of removing the cats and GPFs), with mega loud whip cracks on the gear changes and a really pronounced trumpety V6 tone. 🎺

Who remembers these little rapscallions? The Fiesta RS Turbo was an icon in its day, and can still hold a candle to modern supermini hot hatches of today.

This example had a very poorly repaired aftermarket system already installed, which was restricting performance and looked appealing. Our solution: a full 2.5” TIG-welded stainless steel turbo-back replacement, which included new centre and rear silencers, and a stronger flexi pipe.

Safe to say it now breathes better than intended, with a minimal noise increase over the stock system.

After completing a bespoke 3.5" catless downpipe for him last year, stuntman returned to us to have a cat-back system fabricated to his S15 drift car.

In full tubular 3.5" bore, this fully V-banded system was built with the intent of extracting more power from the "1.5JZ" hybrid engine, while still being able to pass the noise test at some of the more scrupulous tracks around the UK, where Joel undertakes the majority of his competitions.

You will notice the two different rear sections of exhaust: One straight through downturn to the passenger side of the car, for max noise and performance. And one silenced downturn to the drivers side, in aid of killing decibels.

Why not go and give Joel a follow and see what antics he gets up to around the world - .

“You can’t escape the B58…”

We had this lovely BMW 440i Coupe in recently for a double resonator delete and upgraded back box (essentially a non-resonated cat-back).

This set-up hits the sweet spot noise-wise and gives a rich bassy tone, adding some much-needed depth to the overrun burbles.

Just lovely. 🤤🤌

The Van-borghini… 🏎️💨

We’re throwing it back to the time that long-term Cobra Exhausts UK friend, Ronnie, of AmD Tuning fame, made the long drive up from Essex to Sheffield, to have this bespoke exhaust built to his Caddy Maxi pride and joy.

This was a very simple straight through centre and rear system, with a downturned pie-cut tailpipe, to give it that industrial-looking finish. 🧑‍🏭
