Our apprentice smash it today in his football match and got MOM! Well done Noah Materna proud of you pal!!

Kimberworth Park U15s vs Beighton Magpie Blues away in the cup.

The lads started off really strong, after a few attacks from the opposition we pinned them in their half. Numerous attacks led to a penalty after Alfie Hep was pulled in the box. Which he converted after 25mins. 1-0

The constant attack led to us playing very high a break from the opposition meant Alfie D had to meet the attacker which led to a foul. The opposition didn’t manage to convert the free kick. 1-0 in to half time.

The second half the opposition started strong, and at times we lost our composure leading to too many fouls given away. Then Darius skipping through the defence and taking a long range shot to make the scores 2-0
Beighton kept fighting, another foul by us giving them a penalty but this wasn’t converted. Even though we saw some nice football and promising attacks through Daniel, Preston Drew and Alfie the opposition continued their attacks until they got one back in the dying minutes 2-1. This spurred the lads on to fight. J’rimiah then converter one of Daniel’s many crosses, Preston then adding one on the board in the last minute a scoreline that reflected the first half performance 4-1 final score. Securing our place in the Semi Finals next year.

Noah the MoM, he led by example today, the referee commented on how he played and led the team. Well done!!
