Self-Employed Vehicle Technician – Temporary, Part-Time

Foreman Bros Limited is a family-owned, independent Ford specialist offering servicing and repairs for all makes of vehicle. We are looking for a qualified, self-employed Vehicle Technician to support our friendly team on a temporary, part-time basis.
The role:
You will carry out general servicing, mechanical repairs, and diagnostic work across a range of vehicles, with occasional MOT testing if suitably qualified.
About you:
You will have:
• An NVQ Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance and repair, or equivalent.
• Good attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
• A reliable, punctual, and professional approach.
• A full, clean UK driving licence.
An MOT testing qualification would be an advantage but is not essential.
Engagement, hours, and payment:
This is a temporary, part-time engagement on a self-employed basis. You must be self-employed and submit invoices for the hours worked in our workshop.
Days and hours will be agreed within our normal opening hours of Monday to Friday, 8.00am–5.00pm.
We offer a competitive hourly rate based on skills and experience, with invoicing arrangements and payment terms agreed before the engagement begins.
