Discovery 3 - experiencing ABS malfunction due to the module losing coding.

This was causing all manner of warning lights as a result of incorrect multiplexing signals across the high-speed bus network.

One of the faults being the car thinking the steering wheel was turned nearly 180° ( arrows in pictures for reference) when moving in a straight line. Causing the abs unit to unexpectedly apply the brakes.

With an updated software install and recalibration of the basic functions, the faults were rectified. 💻📈

DB11 in for a battery 🔋

Recently completed an unfortunate repair job on a burnt-out fuel pump module that triggered a short circuit on the CAN-BUS network, frying the ABS Module. 🛠️ Installed new fuel and ABS modules, meticulously checked the wiring harness for shorts, and individually encoded/programmed both modules. Finished with adaptations to ensure seamless integration and bid farewell to those pesky dash lights
