Sorry I’ve missed putting this one on … ‘Joe’ arrived on 26th September, what a crazy flystrike day that was

‘Joe’ 297g arrived in a very bad way with flystrike and also flystrike that had already hatched into maggots in his ears and up his bum 🫣

We managed to get rid of all that but he was obviously in quite a bad way, we also found lungworm and roundworm … but good news 2 weeks down the line he is still with us and responding to treatment.

Looks like this guy will get a second chance 🤞🏻

Following a collision on the M6 the offending driver ran from the scene. PD Reggie was deployed and tracked across fields and onto a road for over a mile and found the driver hiding in a bush. He was arrested by and found to be drunk. Great work Reggie!
