Bob Bray is very friendly and very kind. Every week I would look forward to my driving lessons as we would always have a really nice chat while getting everything done and ready to drive.
I would recommend Bob for all new drivers and everyone in general, he has a really nice car to learn in.
Bob explains everything in detail, so if you don't understand something, Bob will teach you so that you gain the knowledge that you need to know very quickly.
Bob Bray is an amazing person and taught me effectively.
The LDC workbook and videos helped me prepare for lessons and the theory test preparation also helped me pass my theory test first time.
I would recommend Bob Bray to everyone. He is the best instructor that I know and helped me pass my test first time.

Bob is an excellent driving instructor, extremely patient and always looking to fill you with confidence. I would strongly recommend him to anyone learning to drive. Bob's focus on preparing you for driving beyond passing your driving test and everyday driving is something I am so grateful for. He is able to apply all lessons to both what is fundamental to the test and what you will encounter as a road user. Bob helped me to build my confidence. He is always honest, kind and patient, willing to go over things many times until that repetition has cemented. CHANGES TO THE DRIVING TEST (from 09/06/2026) 🚗
From Tuesday, 9th June 2026, learner drivers will only be able to move their driving test to nearby test centres.
If you book a new test from this date, you will only be able to move your test to:
• any of the 3 centres nearest to where your test is booked
• the test centre you first booked at on that current booking
If you have an existing booking, the new rule will apply to where your test is booked at, on 9th June – not where you first booked. 🚗
