Meet Tyler…

Tyler has been with us nearly a year now, he came to us on work experience having just turned 17. After completing work experience and showing a great interest in the motor trade we had now taken him on full time as our apprentice!

Many of our customers may have already met Tyler, he also does a little bit of our quoting, answering the phone and invoicing to! Please be patient with him he is still learning everyday!

He is showing great results on the spanner’s and learning fast (first timing belt with Tom’s supervision on one of our sales cars this week as pictured below)

We are really happy to have him as part of the team! As little thank you and an early 18th birthday present we have treated him to his first tool box 💙

There is limited availability left this year for general servicing and repairs.

Hi all, Tom is away this week (yes again!) and will return to work at 9am on Tuesday the 18th of November.

There is a 8 hour time difference so he will not be able to be contacted.

Good afternoon all!

Some further information regarding the changes coming into force this week. As of Wednesday the 1st of October we will be no longer taking on larger jobs.

We will just be focusing on general servicing and repairs (mot’s still arranged and mot repairs still undertaken) for existing customers.

Myself (Tom) will no longer be stationed at our site on Normanby or at work on a Wednesday!

My dad Shane and our new trainee technician Tyler will be handling all workshop bookings enquiries and work with me overseeing the operation in the background.

Our workshop opening times will continue as they have been for a while now, these are 9am while 5:30pm Tuesday to Friday. Closed Monday and weekends (WORKSHOP ONLY)

Big workshop news! 🗞️

We will be slowly reducing the amount of customer/public workshop work we do starting from October this year! And all workshop work will cease at the close of 2026. There are many different factors that have led to this decision.

As many know the sales is a massive part of our business now and a lot of our time is required to prepare all of our vehicles to the high standards we aim for!

On top of this my dad Shane and our main mechanic is also slowing down towards his retirement and reducing his days going into 2026.

We have discussed employment a new technician but unfortunately the motor trade is suffering from a lack of skilled mechanics and technicians.

We will still be doing general servicing and repair work, mot repairs (and mots) and also timing belts. Larger jobs such and clutches and diagnostic/electrical work will no longer be taken on.

I know this may come as a shock and we have so many great customers, we will help advise you on any concerns you may have.

If you have any questions please call us or give the page a message. No bookings already in place will be affected and we will continue as normal for the foreseeable. 

Car sales at both sites will not be affected in anyway.

Good morning everyone!

It’s that time of year where we are extremely busy in the workshop. We now have no available for August and currently taking bookings into the second week of September! So if you have general work planned such as servicing, general repairs and mot’s please book in advance!

We understand you can’t always know when you’re going to have an issue with your car and will always try our best to accommodate where possible.

Good morning all, hope you had a good weekend ☀️

Just a reminder about opening hours, Monday’s the workshop is CLOSED for general work. We are still “OPEN” as a business but focus on sales repairs, collections and jobs so may not be on site.

This may mean that our landline may go unanswered on a Monday if we are offsite. Our mobile number can be found here on our page and this will be answered during normal opening hours.

Calls to Tom’s personal phone or messages to his personal facebook may be ignored this is why we have a work landline, mobile and page!

As always we are mega busy in the workshop and thank you for your continued support 😎
