Right then… Adam (the boss) and the ACTUAL boss are off on a well-earned holiday! ☀️🏖️

So please don’t be ringing Adam’s mobile all week… he promises he won’t answer anyway! 🤣

Adam will be away from Monday 3rd August and back in the workshop on Wednesday 12th August.

If you need us while he’s away, please call the workshop on 📞 01724 786706 and leave a message if there’s no answer. The lads will get back to you as soon as they can.

Please bear with the team, as there won’t be anyone in reception and they’ll be flat out in the workshop, as I’m sure you all know! 🙌🏼

BMW X5 in the workshop with an electronic handbrake fault.

This customer was unable to move the vehicle after the electronic handbrake became stuck on, so we attended their home, disconnected the handbrake cables to safely recover the vehicle back to our workshop.

After diagnosing the fault, we replaced the faulty handbrake control module and carried out the correct calibration and programming. Everything is now operating exactly as it should, and the BMW is ready to return to its owner.

🚗 Range Rover Sport in with an Engine Management Light? We’ve Got It Covered.

This Range Rover Sport came to us with the engine management light illuminated. After carrying out a full diagnosis, we found an EGR insufficient flow fault.

The EGR system and cooler were removed and stripped down, where we discovered the cooler and filter were partially blocked—enough to trigger the fault.

✅ EGR cooler professionally cleaned in our ultrasonic cleaner
✅ Genuine Land Rover filter and gasket fitted
✅ EGR valve cleaned and reassembled
✅ Vehicle road tested to ensure the EGR system and DPF were operating correctly and regenerating as they should

After final checks, the vehicle was returned to the customer running perfectly.
