I love it when I get a full family!
Mum passed in 2014, followed by dad, big brother a couple of years ago and today, “little brother” Bobbi Sheader. Think he beat the lot of them with a first time pass with just 2 little faults 🙌🙌 Absolutely cracking drive, there was no doubt that he’d pass today.
So that’s the Sheader clan done and dusted 🥰

Martin made weekly trips through on the train from Brid for his lessons. It wasn’t an easy start and quite often nerves got the better of him. I could usually tell how nervous he was by how loudly he breathed 🤣 Loud, like a fire breathing dragon = Extra nervous and high blood pressure 🤯 But we put in the time, effort and Martin was definitely dedicated, which showed in his test because he got himself a first time pass with just 3 little faults. Blooming marvellous 🤩 🥳🚗

A bit of friendly rivalry is always a bit of fun. So when your friend passes a couple of weeks before you, first time with just 2 faults, it’s always going to be tough to beat. But today Alex passed not only first time but with an amazing zero faults!! Absolutely cracking drive!! If that’s not a good excuse to miss a mock maths exam then I don’t know what is. Thanks to dad for the extra practice and what a pleasure it’s been. See you on the roads Alex 🥳🚗

Swansdale Vets very own Avy Dhaliwal has today only blooming gone and passed her driving test 🙌🙌🙌 Fixer of everyone’s beloved pets, who can literally be saving your dogs life and not be as stressed as she was about doing her driving test 🤣🤣 You absolutely put the effort in and it’s finally paid off. Congratulations Avy, you’ve done it 🥳🚗
Also, shout out to Jim who helped us out between lessons. You’re a brave man 🤣🫡

One of the great things about teaching people who live in the middle of no where is that parents are so desperate for their kids to pass that they put so much time into practicing, this makes my life soooo much easier 🤣🙌
Today was Hackness’s Emily Gaskell. Absolutely smashing 1st time pass with just 2 little faults 🥳🥳🚗 So shout out to mum and dad for all the extra practice and congratulations Emily, enjoy your new found freedom! 🤩

Oh how I’ll miss Dawn! Teaching Dawn to drive has been hilarious, stressful, frightening and delightful. I wish I’d had a swear jar in my car because I’m pretty sure I could have gone on holiday with the amount she’d have put in it 🤣 As Dawn pulled back into the test centre yesterday she was crying and shaking her head and I though ‘oh Jesus, what have you done’ 🙄 but then the examiner said she’d passed! Exciting right? No, Dawn just continued to cry. I don’t think I’ve ever known someone so sad to hear they had passed 😂😂😂 safe to say Dawn did not enjoy the driving test even though she absolutely smashed it. Congratulations again Dawn 🥳🥳🥳🥳🚗🚗

Today was a drizzly, dark, cold, miserable day but Summer Hoadley brought me a little bit of sunshine every week during her lessons. She first messaged me just after big brother Ol passed his test and I thought ‘oh god, not another one’. I even said to her that I hoped she wasn’t like her brother (who was incredibly annoying). 🤣 Well, Summer wasn’t like her brother but she did bring her very own specialness to our lessons. The girl who can’t remember anything, even if we’d learnt it the week before. The girl who did not take to driving easily but only nearly killed us a few times. The girl who got her phone stolen, along with driving licence about a month before test 😩. But, after a lot of perseverance and determination, a lot of me saying ‘come on Summer, remember!!!’ and so much laughing, she’s bloody done it. And I could not be more proud of how Summer has actually managed to finally remember everything and I’ll be sad that I won’t get to listen to her stories every week. That’s 2 Hoadley children down, 1 to go, and from what I’ve heard, the worst is yet to come 😬😂😂. Congratulations Summer, I’m so happy for you 🚗🚗🥳🥳
