🔧 A little project of mine…5 years in the making with an hour spent on it here and there!

This Nissan R32 GTR originally arrived as a fully running, complete vehicle. Then, as these things often do, one thing led to another… and before long, it had become a bare shell! 😂

What followed was a full rebuild, with the aim of bringing this iconic car back to its former glory — not just to look good, but to actually be used and enjoyed as it was intended.

Every part has been carefully considered, with every nut and bolt replaced where necessary. It’s been a proper labour of love, patience and attention to detail going into putting it all back together.

There’s something very satisfying about taking a car right back to its foundations and slowly watching it come back to life 😊

A little project that’s definitely been a big one… but one I’ve thoroughly enjoyed, so far....

🔧 MEET THE OWNER OF MOTOR VEHICLE REPAIRS – DARREL CRICK

🔧 Been in the motor trade since the age of 15, tinkering with cars since birth! One of his earliest memories is helping his Grandad with his MK1 Lotus Cortina.

🚗 Started Motor Vehicle Repairs in 2014, went on to buy the building next door in 2023 before buying and opening our MOT Station Gladstone Garage in 2024.

❤️ What do I enjoy most? Seeing our customers happy with the work we do, especially when we’re able to solve an ongoing issue.

😂 My guilty pleasure: Eating good food!

🔧 Biggest skill: Pulling things apart and putting it back together! The basics of general mechanics.

😂 Fun fact: I think I’m always right… but apparently my wife is!

👨‍👩‍👦‍👦 Family: Married to Laura for almost 10 years. Our house is never boring or quiet, raising teenage boys and three dogs!

🚗 First ever car: A Clio Valver.

🌍 Best holiday: The most recent one — a cruise around the Norwegian Fjords! We enjoyed it so much that we’ve already booked the next two. 🚢

❤️ We thought it would be nice for you to get to know the person behind the business a little better!

🚗 Another diagnostic job completed! 🔧

This Mercedes came to us with multiple bulb failures and warning lights showing on the dashboard.

Our diagnostic investigation found multiple broken wires throughout the vehicle, including one in the boot affecting the rear light.

Electrical faults can sometimes be difficult to spot, which is why regular weekly vehicle checks are so important. 💡

A quick check of your lights, warning lights, tyres and general condition could help identify a problem before it becomes a bigger issue.

✅ Professional diagnostics
✅ Electrical fault finding
✅ Repairs carried out in-house
✅ Keeping you and your vehicle safe

📞 If you have warning lights showing or an electrical fault, get in touch and let us investigate it properly!
