Today I managed to save a lovely customer from spending out £250 on a new EGR just by giving it a good ole clean and now it works perfectly!

I always try my best to save unnecessary costs where a cheaper alternative can be tried first - e.g clean, fluid changes, freeing seized items etc although some may not be possible.

The past 3 weeks I've been having some different jobs compared to the regular servicing, brakes and exhausts.

I've had an automatic gear selector on a Mercedes c-class causing problems such as not going into gear, I've also had an automatic steering column torque sensor on a Fiat 500 causing issues such as loss of electric steering, both of which i had to remove the part and send off for further testing and repairing.

Today I had the pleasure of changing some fuel tank straps on a Nissan Navara, and its being a full tank made it even more fun. You can see from the photos that they were long over due a change.

Good afternoon and happy Friday

I would like to inform you I will be taking a much needed break to spend time with my wife and kids this weekend after working everyday for the past 3 weeks although should you need to contact me, I'll have my work phone on me at all times so can still reach me through messenger, WhatsApp, text or call

I would also like to highlight the importance of having the trust in people for who does work to your car and if you recently bought a car, who you've bought it from as these past few weeks I've been very busy sorting out problems that sales garages never declared, cars that were bought with a dodgy MOT, and repairing mistakes from other garages/mechanics. I will not be naming and shaming as these things unfortunately do happen.

Should you ever find yourself in a situation where you are buying a new car and would like a second opinion then I will be adding that to services that I offer

Also if you happen to buy a car that's not as it's stated then I am more than happy to come out and have a look, but also create formal quotes sent via email and I can also write an email to you with details of the car and my findings.

However, as happy as I am to look round a car either before or after an MOT, I will clarify that it is always down to the discretion of the MOT tester.

Wow, what an amazing start to the year!

This month I have been super busy with jobs of all sorts, I've done wheel bearings, driveshafts, gear selector for an auto, exhausts, services, clutches, top mounts, springs, diagnostics, battery reconditioning, alternators and more and that is thanks to each and every one of you that has helped support me!

Unfortunately this does mean that our 10% discount off labour is coming to an end so be sure to book in with me by the end of today to guarantee the 10% (those of you who are already booked in for after today still receive the discount)

I would like to thank you all again for your custom and I will have another deal on soon so watch this space :)

Happy boxing day!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that today is just as good.
Before long we will be heading into 2025 and kids will be going back to school!
