One of the most impressive transformations we've carried out involves bringing the latest facelift ambient lighting to a pre-facelift 2023 Audi RS3 8Y. The challenge was that while the pre-facelift RS3 had ambient lighting throughout the cabin, the carbon fibre dash and centre tunnel lacked the multi-colour ambient lighting that became standard in the facelift model.

Working with our trusted partners at RocketWires, we developed a complete retrofit solution. This involves fitting a genuine Audi RS3 8Y facelift centre tunnel with integrated ambient lighting, new illuminated cup holders, updated dash trims, and our custom-made wiring harness built in-house using genuine VAG components. The transformation effectively creates a hybrid interior combining the best of both generations.

For this particular client who had already enhanced their RS3 with ABT upgrades, we completed the aesthetic by installing an ABT start/stop button to match their existing modifications. The result is a seamless integration that looks completely factory while adding the latest lighting technology.

Just completed a lovely upgrade on this gorgeous Audi SQ2 Vorsprung - fitting genuine Audi puddle lights to the front doors. These aren't aftermarket copies, but proper OEM parts that integrate seamlessly with the car's existing systems. The puddle lights not only add a premium touch when entering and exiting the vehicle, but they also provide practical illumination in darker conditions. It's amazing how these seemingly small details can make such a difference to the overall ownership experience. The SQ2 Vorsprung already comes with plenty of luxury touches, but these puddle lights really complete the premium feel. Hi Everyone, hope you are all well.

We we have a 2020 Audi S5 Sportback which the customer had assumed came with the Wireless Charging QI Pad. Unfortunately, it didnt and so asked us to fit the OEM option. This involves removing the entire centre tunnel as you can see, adding in the new stowage compartment and wireless charging pad, wiring and configuration. The MMI now has a "Wireless mobile phone charging" option in to turn the feature on and off, and if desired the car can provide an audible sound or spoken cue to alert the driver their phone is still in the car in the same way as if it was connected with a cable.

Oh, and we enabled Traffic Sign Recognition for them.

Hey Everyone - hope you have had a good weekend.

Recently we had a new client come to us who had previously had an aftermarket multi-colour interior ambient lighting kit fitted to their 2024 Audi A3 8Y Saloon.

Unfortunately, it never worked properly and was not integrated into the MMI system , so the client asked us to remove it all, throw it in the bin and replace it with the Genuine OEM Interior Ambient Lighting for their car as if fitted at the factory. 👍

The video on our YouTube channel shows the differences between the two systems, the hurdles we faced swapping it all out and the final outcome.

Cracking on with our content... We recently had the pleasure of upgrading this 2023 Audi e-Tron with the Genuine Audi e-Tron Rear View Camera system and adding the Geniune Audi Front Parking System as well.

The rear view camera system engages automatically when the car is put into reverse but also can be enabled by the parking button in the Gear Selector lever that was also replaced to provide that functionality. In addition, this rear view camera system is connected to the rear washer system which means a fine jet of water is sprayed onto the rear view camera lens when the rear wash wiper is activated - however, it can also be activated on the MMI screen at the touch of a button to spray the rear view camera specifically with the "Clean reversing camera" option as shown in the pictures. A really neat future.

Next we fitted the Front Parking Sensor system. This includes 4 brand new Genuine OEM Audi e-Tron parking sensors paintined in Satin Black to match the trims they are installed into. As the system has now both Front + Rear Parking sensors, this now includes an optical display on the MMI screen when activated and includes automatic activation of the front parking sensors as the car gets close to objects in front of it. Again, as the gear selector was replaced, the front parking sensors can be activated at the touch of a button as well.

Finally, the gear selector lever swap contains an additional button on the left which is a quick access button to bring up the Driver Assistance features on the car for the driver to alter/adjust as necessary. This means no fumbling through the MMI screens to alter a setting!

It takes about 7 hours to complete both these retrofits combined.

Great updates to a great all-electric vehicle.

We had the pleasure of again upgrading another 2023 Audi S3 8Y with the Genuine OEM Multi-Colour Interior Ambient Lighting. This time the customer ordered this car from factory and was told by the salesperson that it came with 5 colours as standard so didnt need the multi-colour lighting option. However, that is not true and there is no such thing as "5 colour option" on the A3/S3/RS3 8Y. You either get no lighting at all (apart from Vanity lights), or basic white lighting, or the full 30 colour palette multi-colour ambient lighting. The basic no lighting means the interior of the car is very dark at night, and the client really wanted something better, but OEM as fitted at the factory and we gladly obliged. We have a tried and tested process for this having spent nearly 2 years building this retrofit to be as perfect as it can be, and it never fails to impress. We have 3 more Audi A3/S3 8Y's lined up for this in the next 2 months.

We recently installed cruise control on a 2004 Audi A2. Although this vehicle may be considered older by today's standards, adding cruise control significantly boosts its convenience and modern appeal. This feature allows for easier long-distance driving by maintaining a constant speed without the need for continuous accelerator input. As a result, it enhances driving comfort, reduces fatigue on longer journeys, and can even contribute to better fuel efficiency. Even older cars like the Audi A2 can benefit from such technological upgrades, making them more enjoyable and practical to drive.

A while ago we upgraded the grille and badges on Audi Q3 (see previous posts) to gloss black and a honeycomb grille along with fitting new side steps. The client was really pleased with how it all came out and so another family member decided they wanted the same down to their 2015 SQ5 8R after seeing the Q3 😊

So here we changed and updated the front grille of this SQ5 to a gloss black honeycomb grille with gloss black badge, changed the V6T on both sides of the car to gloss black, changed the Audi rings on the back to the genuine Audi gloss black rings, changed the SQ5 badge on the back to gloss black and removed the "TDI" completely on the rear right of the boot lid for a cleaner look.

Like always, these sort of small changes can really have a big overall impact on the car's appearance.
