Customer rang us 2 weeks ago, saying there was a big bang, a weird smell, a strange noise and loads of oil coming from underneath there car. However it still drove fine,

We went out to have a look and found that we could see into the gearbox. We gave the customer 3 options of repair: A new gearbox, a reconditioned gearbox or a second hand gearbox. we gave the customer all 3 prices, the customer went for the reconditioned gearbox. Reconditioned gearboxes are made to order so there was a bit of a wait.

New reconditioned gearbox was fitted alongside a very worn clutch. now the car drives better and there is no more weird smells no more strange noise or oil under the vehicle .

Brand new water pump fitted to this Mercedes C-Class this evening.

Contacted us for a coolant loss issue diagnosed the leak by pressurising the coolant system. We found the coolant pump to be leaking.

New lower arm fitted to a Renault scenic. We picked up on the service that the bushes were worn and the ball joint had excessive play. We rebooked the customer to have this done.

This customer’s braking performance was poor due to the rear wheel cylinders sticking. New brake cylinders fitted and the rear shoes cleaned and adjusted.now the braking performance is back to normal.
