Sad but exciting picture. This time last year. Mk1 giving up most of her parts for mk2, mk1 looking a bit sad in the background.

At least mk1 will hopefully be reborn this year under a new guise 💪🏼

Mk2 was constructed with a level of secrecy so we never got to share these photos at the time!

Another throwback from the archive.

My first bike, a Hyosung GT125, ironically one of the only bikes to never ever let me down. Korean… Not Chinese. Which was sold to a friend, and then another friend. So it was in my life long after I passed my test,

My Cbr400rr awaiting repair & sale, and my (to me at the time) shiny new Zx7r.

This was probably my favourite era of riding bikes. The 750 felt like the fastest thing on the road, and there weren’t speed cameras every other bloody mile!

To everyone with work in hand with us. Please note we are a few days behind the plan as I have once again knackered my back. Mainly due to a long history of a right hand with more balls than my brain has the talent to keep up with.

In the meantime, since The Worlds Fastest Bobber will soon be needed a tow around. It only makes sense to have The Worlds Coolest Pit Bike for that duty. So here you can see some progress with that, and yes it’ll be getting the correct handlebars💪🏼

We’ve also had several deliveries so if you’re awaiting parts they may be here but we haven’t had chance to sort through them yet. We will contact everyone asap with more details.

Still one of our favourite projects. Especially armed with the su***de clutch / jockey shifter. Not sure she’s seen the road lately. Hopefully she’ll make a return in the summer 🤞🏼

To think we started off in a rented single garage, in a block.

We had no power but a crappy two stroke generator that could just about power a fluorescent light that my brother fitted a plug to for us. And with nothing but my dad’s Halfords socket set and a pirated Haynes manual.

Now we have a brilliant facility that’s still expanding and improving.

Perseverance and passion pays off 💪🏼🤘🏻

Not our usual bag we must say but we welcome challenges. A devil in its simplicity. There’s so few components on this. They all have to work perfectly.

It arrived running. But generally just a bit crap.

New pedals with bearings in, new starter clutch, a new drive belt, cleaned points, new non split exhaust, regreased and cleaned variator, a clean carb and fresh hub oil.

Everything just working a little better than before equals a happy customer 👍🏻

Beautiful little Sporty in for its yearly service, Mot and a few little bits.
We also noticed the neutral light wasn’t working while it was here, a quick test confirmed the circuit was good, so a new switch was soon en route from Jersey and now she’s sweet. That pulley nut is one big bastid though!
And if anyone is gonna try it at home. Don’t forget it’s a left handed thread 💪🏼
