This stunning Cupra Leon Estate VZ2 recently visited us for a comprehensive paint correction and ceramic coating package, bringing the finish to a level that truly does the car justice.
This wasn't simply a wash and polish. Every stage was carefully carried out to restore, refine, protect and enhance every surface
✅ FULL DECONTAMINATION PROCESS:
Before any machine polishing could begin, the vehicle underwent an extensive decontamination process to safely remove embedded contaminants from the paintwork.
This included:
�• Citrus pre-wash and snow foam treatment�• Safe contact wash using premium wash media�• Iron fallout removal to dissolve embedded brake dust and metallic contamination�• Tar removal treatment�• Clay bar decontamination to remove stubborn bonded contaminants from the paint surface
This leaves the paint perfectly clean and allows polishing stages to achieve maximum results
✅ MULTI-STAGE MACHINE POLISHING:
The paintwork was then carefully assessed under specialist lighting before undergoing a full multi-stage machine polish.
This process removed:�• Wash marring�• Fine scratches�• Swirl marks�• Oxidation and dullness�• Surface defects affecting gloss and clarity
The result is dramatically improved paint depth, clarity and reflection.
✅ RECENTLY PAINTED PANEL ORANGE PEEL CORRECTION:
One panel had previously been repainted and displayed significant orange peel texture.
Through careful refinement and correction techniques, the surface was levelled and improved to create a much smoother finish, allowing the panel to blend more consistently with the factory paintwork.
✅ BIRD LIME ETCHING REMOVAL:
Bird droppings can permanently damage paint if left untreated.
Several areas had suffered from bird lime staining and etching which were carefully corrected through polishing, restoring the affected areas and preventing the marks from detracting from the overall finish.
✅ STONE CHIP & DOOR EDGE REPAIRS:
The bonnet had accumulated a number of stone chips while the door edges showed signs of use-related damage.
These defects were rectified to improve the vehicle's appearance and create a much cleaner overall finish before protection was applied.
✅ PANEL PREPARATION:
Once all correction work was completed, every painted surface was thoroughly wiped down using dedicated panel preparation products.
This removes polishing oils and residues, ensuring the ceramic coating bonds directly to the paintwork for maximum durability and performance.
✅ MULTI-YEAR CERAMIC COATING APPLIED:
A professional-grade multi-year ceramic coating was then applied to all painted surfaces and wheels.
