It is with great sadness to announce that Rex Garage will be no longer trading as from Friday 16th September.
Due to the circumstances we will be no longer taking on anymore work.
Ever since taking the foreman job I have built a good team and more importantly friends for life.
I would just like to say a huge thank you to all our loyal customers, who kept returning to us for all these years.
Unfortunately, it is out of the workshops control and its come to a shock for us all.
If it wasn't for the team we have, Rex Garage wouldn't have lasted this long.
As they say one door closes and another opens!

I am currently taking a well deserved break away in Cyprus but Josh, Adam and Karen are still working until we close.

Hope everyone is keeping safe!

If you are using the 6 month MOT extension please make sure your vehicle is road worthy. We have seen plenty of vehicles this week that the owner thought was road worthy. We do not want our customers to get caught out. If you are unsure and able to then getting an MOT is the safer option.

Dear customers,
I am pleased to say our workshop is back open... all be it on skeleton staff but we are here if needed. We ask everyone who comes in to respect social distancing rules. We are doing everything we can to reduce risk.
To the people that are using the 6 month MOT extension, please ensure your vehicle is road worthy, if you are unsure of that we would recommend you have your MOT.
Hope everyone is keeping safe and continue to follow government guidelines.

It is with a heavy heart that we have decided to close our workshop until further notice. With covid-19 worsening and people using their vehicles less and less it doesnt make sense to continue to put our staff or customers at risk. The DVSA has released a 6 month extension to any MOT test due after the 30th of march.

Update:
We are still open for MOTs and repair work. Pick ups and drop offs for vulnerable people and other key workers. Flexible hours to help with other key workers jobs/commitments. We do ask that due to the step up in hygenine for your safety and ours that no customer is permitted to wait for their vehicle and we are currently operating a non-contact handover.
Any emergency service workers and NHS have priority to all we can offer.

Dear Customers,
Due to the recent Coronavirus outbreak and feedback from customers in the last few weeks, we have decided to offer a collection and drop off service. If you are vulnerable or in isolation or simply do not feel comfortable bringing your car to us, we are happy to collect. Everything we touch will be sanitized and you dont even have to hand us the key if you dont feel comfortable. We will be working flexible hours to help with any NHS staff or vulnerable people who do not want to be around in peak hours.
We will be as flexible as we possibly can so please, if needed call us on 01722334886.
