Technicians to train as Electric Vehicle Technicians.

Penton Motor Group is recharging our workforce for the coming electric vehicle revolution!

We are seeking qualified vehicle technicians to join our already successful service departments to operate at the cutting edge of current motor industry technology. We are training the electric vehicle technicians of our future. You will be provided the latest up to date training and accreditations by the vehicle manufacturers, which will include all aspects of the brand and it’s range of models; including full electric, hybrid and light e-commercial vehicles.

We all still need to earn whilst learning something new, so while training for this exciting new technology we will require you to show your technical skills within our busy workshops for Vauxhall, Peugeot or Citroen, working on the brands contemporary vehicles.

We offer a fantastic basic package with an excellent bonus scheme. Penton Motor Group is a family run business with over 33 years of experience providing new and used vehicles across 4 state of the art premises within Dorset and Wiltshire.

We have positions available in Poole, Christchurch, and Salisbury. The hours are 8:30am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays on a Rota basis.

You might be currently working for an independent garage, another branded franchise or something else completely, we really don’t mind. All are welcome to apply.

What do you need to apply?

You need to be a hard working, team player with the hunger to to learn. You should have at least five years experience within a workshop environment, level 3 qualifications and most importantly, excellent quality of work. A Clean driving license with no disqualifications is also a requirement.

Customer Service Advisor required for our growing Service Department.

We are looking for an experienced Service Advisors at our Salisbury branch. You will be responsible for a customers journey throughout our Service Department including some follow up to ensure customer satisfaction. You will need to be able to follow processes and liase between different departments.

The ideal candidate would ideally have Main dealer experience and fully understand the importance of excellent customer service. Previous experience using Pinnacle would be an advantage.

Our Customer Service Advisors earn OTE between £25,000 and £30,000 per annum. Hours are 8am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday and Saturdays are 8.30am - 12.30pm on a rota basis.

Penton Motor Group enjoy developing people who want to progress - the successful candidate will receive manufacture training as well as inhouse training. A full driving licence will be required for this position. This is a great opportunity to join a family friendly young team. Other benefits include life insurance and staff car schemes.
