We are still trying to process just what happened last weekend.

To everyone that came on Saturday and took part in the convoy or attended the Thanksgiving Service, we cannot thank you enough. It was wonderful to be surrounded by so many friends, to share stories and to reminisce.

Cam & Gemma - you did the most amazing job of organising the convoy, the scale of which we still cannot fathom. We are blown away by the support of the recovery industry that came from far and wide to pay their respects - just incredible.

RS Recovery Ltd and in particular Jas and Shaun, thank you for not only allowing us to borrow back Ray’s favourite recovery truck ‘A1’ to head up the convoy, but also going to the time and expense of getting it re-liveried with the Avery Recovery branding. Your generosity knows no bounds. Words can’t express how much that meant.

I N Newmans who have been by our side throughout this journey, your support has been exceptional. We couldn’t have done it without you.

To our friends at Johnstons and Haywards for providing HGV parking, Buchannan’s for the marquee, the music group from Downton Baptist Church - again a massive thank you.

And to all those who have sent messages of condolences and support over the last few weeks they have been of great comfort to us all.

From Sue and all the family and everyone at RD Avery – thank you for honouring Ray in such a spectacular way. He will be missed – but never forgotten.
