Back in tidworth garrison, the chieftain MBT has arrived from ATR Wi******er thanks to 4 Armoured Close Support Battalion REME reccy mechs (god's trade). Under the GSM in the coming months, we plan to get her looking immaculate and ready to be placed on a plinth that will be built at the front gate of garrison . Pics of the work to follow.

Members of Fylde RAA are working on a QF 25pdr Field Gun as a project. The gun was a Gate Guard for around 60 years, although the gun itself is over 80 years old. Years of over painting, weather, rust and general decay had taken its toll over the years, but the boys are making great headway. So far, the Gun has starred at local fetes and festivals. the team is made up of RA Vets, along with Vets from other services, including RAF and RLC, supported by wives and partners.

We are not a group , we are a collective, we have different teams in different garrison areas all with the same goal to preserve our history. We always support anyone who needs help renovating their gate guards .

Target stop, next target right down at 1 Medical Regiment to do their Saracan ambulance, like with any husband, it had the IKEA furniture effect, we just had to be reminded every 6 months it needed doing, but we're finally round to start it in the coming days . Pics to follow.

We don't usually put up fundraisers , as we just stuck to our lane . But anyone who knows WO 1 Carl sharples knows he's a top lad, always dug out for the lads and lasses in units, he's digging out blind to do this event . I know the pain of this as after Afghan I was in and out of wheel chairs and crutches for nearly 5 years , so I know this event would be a lick out . Even worse they are doing it around Aldershot 😂😂😂😂. If anyone could spare some pennies for this , that would be amazing .
