Been a bit all over the place this month.. but smashed it this week! Dragged the 61 Rhd 15 in and pulled what little was left apart! Huge order from Alan H Schofield Ltd 😘 and we absolutely nailed the chassis! Looks easy but to get everything square and welded correct takes time! Can’t wait for next week to reunite it all again and make it look like a bus 🤗

It’s been a very long journey with this one.. but it feels so good to be putting some miles on the old girl now 🤩 Lewis Westside Fabrications Ltd (Residential) thank you so much for entrusting us with this build and being so supportive with the work we’ve put into this. I hope you and your family get a lot of enjoyment out of the mango! The full okrasa motor pulls so well, feels a super nice bus.
Thank you as always to Bob.. last few weeks have been tough with the build up 😬, Tom Cole’s for smashing the mechanical side, Sam Sam Trigg for the complete interior! And check out how smooth the sunroof is! Outstanding 🙌🏻 and of course Alan H Schofield Ltd for every panel, seal, trim and parts used on this build 💪🏼 the best as always.
Really nice to have two finished busses here! But can’t wait to see them go 😂 m

Hessisch 2026… hard for words to describe this show really! The build up for the last couple months have been crazy to get the taxi and Ian MacDowall 53 smoothgate finished plus painting Dai Watkins 50 panel earlier in the year.. and we did it 🤗 absolutely non of this would of been possible without Stuart Pennicook who always goes above and beyond, Tom Coles for all the spannering, dragging everything everywhere and just taking everything in his stride! Hitchman for all barndoor beam/spindles and steering box stuff, Trigg Sam Trigg for turning his hand from the best trimming I’ve seen to then mechanical and build up.. just the best bunch of legends! Thank you.
Steve for what I think is the best patina work we’ve ever seen on the 53 smoothgate and he worked day and night to get it across the line. And last but not least Rick up Alan H Schofield Ltd who we use for every panel, trim, rubber and mechanical piece used on all our restos, countless last minute emergency calls and next day delivery.
The cars at the show were absolutely mind blowing and great to see a lot of old Smiths cars, but better than that was meeting up with old and new friends 🤗

Hessisch oldendorf was just incredible and the last couple months has been crazy getting a few cars finished.. but here goes with this!
For Sale, Transport Lausanne TL 15 taxi is for sale. Originally delivered as a factory primer right hand drive right hand loading door bus delivered to Switzerland (AMAG) then had coachbuilt loading doors that both open same direction.
This was one of 6 TL split window taxis made and we believe to be the only remaining one.
We have put an incredible amount of time and work into building the bus you see here and tried to get all details as perfect as possible.
We hand made the destination board and rear luggage rack from photos and think we got it all spot on.
After extensive welding the body was painted in factory TL blue and white outside with grey inside.
Complete fresh interior was trimmed by Sam Trigg and is simply incredible.
Completely unique bus and built to an extremely high standard.
Can ship anywhere in the world at buyers expense

Throw back to about 2007… life was easy 😂 my trusty 2003 174 twin slider T5 pretty much first T5 brought into the country, had so many amazing adventures in that van.. towing my 1954 Rhd single cab, that I saw for sale in the back of volksworld! It was in NZ so I flew out the next week and bought that and two other cars and shipped them home! And rebuilt it over a winter.

1969 Porsche 911T, for sale on behalf of the owner is this really nice early 911. This is a very presentable car, by no means a show car but one you could use every day very happily.
The car has undergone a mechanical freshen up and everything works nicely, motor is very strong and pulls well, has benefited from a new permatune ignition and distributor, full service and tune. Brand new disks and calipers, new quality tyres on the original 15 inch Fuchs.
Few scabby bits on doors, but overall looks very solid.
Ready for a summer of fun, asking £55k or offers, located in Padstow Cornwall. Would happily jump in this car and drive anywhere.
