🔧 TPMS WARNING LIGHT? — IT’S NOT ALWAYS THE PRESSURE! 🚗

A customer came to us after visiting two other garages with the same problem — the TPMS (Tyre Pressure Monitoring System) low-pressure warning kept coming back on.

The tyre pressures had been checked several times and were all at the correct 34 PSI, and the system had also been reset multiple times. Yet the warning kept returning.

So we carried out a diagnostic check of the TPMS system and found the problem…

👉 One of the sensors was reading incorrectly at just 24 PSI, despite the tyre itself being correctly inflated.

We replaced the faulty sensor, checked all four tyres for the correct pressure, reprogrammed the TPMS system and carried out a final check.

✅ Faulty sensor identified
✅ Sensor replaced
✅ All tyre pressures checked
✅ TPMS reprogrammed
✅ Warning light OFF

And most importantly…

The customer had already been to a local chain brand and was told they’d have to wait 2 weeks for the tyres.

They came to us instead… and we got straight to work! 💪

We headed out to our wholesaler, collected the tyres, brought them back, fitted and balanced all 4 — job done in around an hour! ⏱️
