JEEP cherokee in this week, customer was rather frustrated, its been to a few other garages recently with a misfire. No one could seem to find out why or where.
Clearly cylinder 6 had the misfire as you can see it drop off the graph!
Dropped off in the morning.
Diagnostics done.
Answer and solution after lunchtime.

As many of you know I moved premises in February this year.
Everything is going well, thanks to your continued custom.
1 thing that's being getting on my nerves is the tiled floor. Looks great when I do it. But it's usually on a Sunday as its the only time I get chance to do it.
So we invested in a new machine.
Oh my life!
No more Sundays! Whole workshop gleaming in approximately an hour.
I'd like to thank Darren, our master tech and mot tester for his research into testing several different options.
So now we can crack on with this engine rebuild and turbo issue on a T5 camper!

Seat Ibiza in this week with no power issue.
Diagnosed by national recovery company as an egr issue.
Upon investigation we found the turbo had failed with a snapped core shift and failed seals, therefore allowing oil to enter the cat and dpf system.
The reason the turbo failed was oil starvation due to a blocked filter. The pictures show the blocked filter and a filter that was replaced after a scheduled service.
Lesson: change the oil on a regular basis

Full engine replacement in this 3.0l Audi cabriolet. Its his pride and joy.
He'd been to several other garages that wouldn't touch it. After a few calls we found him a warranted engine. Fitted it and now back on the road enjoying the sunny weather!

Good afternoon.
After waiting 2 months for paperwork issues to be resolved.
This week we conducted our first MOT on our good friend Trevor's pride and joy.
Trevor helped us out so much over the last few weeks with our move, (mostly splattering paint everywhere apart from the walls he was supposed to be doing!).
It was a pleasure to gift him his MOT.
